Jill Powers
Jill is the featured guest speaker at the Handweavers Guild of Boulder meeting on Monday, May 10th. She will present Off the Beaten Path- Plant, Animal, and Insect Fiber Art. Jill creates fiber panels and vessels made of harvested and manipulated plant materials from Thailand. Jill’s presentation begins at 10:30am at the Mountain View Methodist Church, Barker Hall, 355 Ponca Place, Boulder. CO

Charlotte Ziebarth
Charlotte will present Digital Cloth at the may 17th meeting of the Front Range Contemporary Quilters. She will discuss her journey from being a person interested in many fiber crafts to an artist who has found a passion in digital art as applied to cloth and quilts. Charlotte’s art involves several processes and many sources of inspiration. Her slide presentation will include the development of her imagery from photographs through digital transformation to finished art quilts. The FRCQ meeting will be held from 7pm-9pm at the Westminster City Park Recreation Center, 10455 Sheridan Blvd., Westminster, Colorado.
