Public Libraries / Exhibitions
Libraries aren’t just for books anymore. They offer a wealth of resources for artists. For instance their reference sections can help you locate specific groups of people who might be interested in buying your art. The Denver Public Library has a digital image library, particularly useful if you need to research something about Colorado history (or other states) for your art.
Libraries may have community rooms where you could hold an SDA “Meet and Greet” gathering to find other surface design or fiber artists in your area. Several have spaces devoted to art displays where you might exhibit your work.

Please share the name of a library in your area which has fiber art exhibits and the name of the contact person for such exhibits at that library. Many thanks!
